While the Bennett case has been the touchstone for how the OCDC has improperly proceeded  against an attorney, the other examples (18+ at the latest count) provided below, show that the Bennett Disbarment is not an isolated case. How can an attorney who has a right to appeal an arbitration award get disbared is an important question that all 95,000 licensed Texas Attorneys  should ask. How can the OCDC take a fee dispute as it did in the D. Patick Smitherman  and the Clarissa Guajardo cases and prosecute these attorneys simply because the client does not want to pay? These and many more questions are raised by the letters, documents, and cases that  are presented on this site.
